Theme Settings
In your WordPress admin, navigate to Genesis > Theme Settings.
To setup Content Archives like the demo, use the following settings:
Site Title / Logo Image
The theme supports both text based logo/description or a logo image. You can change this under Genesis > Theme Settings.
For a logo image, replace the logo@2x.png files with your own in the theme’s “images” directory.
You may need to modify some CSS for logo background sizing in a couple areas. Contact us if you need assistance.
Navigation Menu
Create your menu(s) under Appearance > Menus.
Select “Primary Navigation Menu” to enable the menu.
To add social icons to the right side of the menu:
Enable “CSS Classes” (click Screen Options in upper right, check “CSS Classes”).
Refer to Ionicons Cheatsheet for social icon classes.
Enter “social” in the CSS Classes field.
Tip: Sort your social icons in reverse order so that they appear in the order you want on the front end.
Tip: Use additional CSS class “last” for the icon on the far right to remove extra padding on the right side.
Sidebar Widgets
There is a Primary Sidebar widgets area under Appearance > Widgets.
The “HELLO” widget can be added with the default Text widget or the WYSIWYG Widgets / Widget Blocks plugin which gives you a handy WYSIWYG editor.
Genesis eNews Extended is used for the opt-in and configured according to your mailing list provider.
