Entry title is pulled automatically and a sub-heading is added to the “Excerpt” field on the page or post editor.
If you do not have the option to enable excerpts from “Screen Options” on the page editor, add the following code to your functions.php file…
Also, make sure you have “Move Excerpts/Archive Descriptions” enabled (checked) under Appearance > Display Featured Image for Genesis.
Front Page
Set a static page as your “Front page” under Settings > Reading.
There are (3) Front Page widget areas ready for your content. Go to Appearance > Widgets to add configure the widget areas.
The demo is using the WYSIWYG Widgets / Widget Blocks plugin for the Front Page 1 widget area.
The “Genesis – Featured Posts” widget is used to feature (3) blog posts in the Front Page 2 widget area.
Instagram Slider Widget plugin is used for an Instagram feed in the Front Page 3 widget area.

The theme supports both text based logo/description or a logo image. You can change this under Genesis > Theme Settings.
For a logo image, replace the logo.png and logo@2x.png files with your own in the theme’s “images” directory.
You may need to modify some CSS for logo background sizing in a couple areas. Contact us if you need assistance.

Create your menu(s) under Appearance > Menus.
Go to Appearance > Widgets and drag the “Custom Menu” widget to the Header Right widget area. Select your menu from the drop down and save.
